The academic cooperation agreement between EAFIT University (Colombia) and Vicomtech-IK4 contributes to training students

Students at EAFIT University (Colombia), from the research group of the CAD/CAM/CAE lab, could increase their knowledge in Vicomtech-IK4 thanks to the international academic cooperation agreement signed back in 2003.
Some of the students who already benefited from this agreement have continued with their research career within the Centre this way gaining knowledge and improving their career plan to hold positions of responsibility at the Centre itself or at other sectors.
The agreement offers students PhD courses, forums, last generation equipment and training in processes at internationally renowned institutions. In words of Prof. Oscar Ruiz from EAFIT University “Vicomtech-IK4, EAFIT and students build international excellency indicators (projects, publications, theses, amongst others)”.
