Abstract

Two-thirds of individuals suffering of a stroke survive and require rehabilitation. Traditional therapy helps survivors in relearning motor and cognitive skills that are lost when part of the brain is damaged. Virtual reality rehabilitation techniques have many advantages in the training of the activities of daily living (ADL).
