Senior R&D Business Developer
We are looking for someone with knowledge on R&D Business Development.
If you have experience on business development posts in service providing on IT or engineering/industry fields and are familiar with the following tasks, you might be able to join our team:
- To prospect assigned areas and to develop business on different channels.
- To identify and to create business opportunities (both applied R&D projects, as well as technology transfer and licensing) through dialogue with companies and institutions based on their needs and the technological capacity of the Centre and its mission.
- To collaborate with the counselling team to current or potential clients, in regards of R&D&I projects.
- To prospect and to select the best private and public financing mechanisms.
- To manage the Centre’s clients, through long-term loyalty tasks.
- To achieve consultative, high added value selling in terms of the Centre’s efficiency and innovation standards.
- To externally represent the Centre in national and international forums.
- To monitor the detection of the client’s needs, their evolution and their satisfaction.
Candidates must have:
- Training: Higher education on Engineering (Industrial, IT or Telecommunications).
- Experience: At least 5-year-experience in business development posts in service providing on IT or engineering/industry fields (it will be highly valued experience in terms of innovation, especially on R&D&i).
- Languages: Advanced English level. Basque will be valued.
- High level of autonomy, dynamism, proactivity, flexibility, empathy and self-confident.
- Capability of adapting to the client’s needs.
- Availability to travel local (Euskadi) and national.
- Strategic and analytic vision profile.
