Senior R&D Business Developer / Market Development R&D Healthcare Sector

We are looking for a person to join the Technology Transfer Department, to drive the commercial action and technology transfer of the center in the Health sector, being the central support to the technological area of Digital Health and Biomedical Technologies of the center. The scope of action addresses the Health sector in the broadest sense, including among others different subsectors or areas of action such as Digital Health, Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Prevention and Socio-health and Public Administrations.

The key responsibilities of the position include:

• Prospecting companies at regional (Euskadi) or national level, to identify companies with the greatest potential for development or transfer of related digital technologies in the aforementioned or other related fields.
• Identification and generation of business opportunities (both applied R&D projects and technology transfer and licensing) through dialogue with companies and institutions based on their needs and the technological capabilities of the center and its mission.
• Collaborate with the team in advising current or potential customers, regarding the approach, conceptualization, presentation and development of R&D&I projects of development or technology transfer in the above mentioned areas.
• Prospecting and selection of the best private and public financing mechanisms according to the needs of the companies.
• Manage the center's clients, through long-term loyalty work.
• To achieve a consultative sale, with high added value, in relation to the center's standards of efficiency and innovation.
• External representation of the center in national and international business and transfer forums.
• Supervise the detection of customer needs, their evolution and satisfaction.
