Artificial Intelligence applied to the management of the COVID'19 crisis and its exit scenarios


For example, in the field of monitoring, and always respecting data protection regulations, we are studying ways to take advantage of the opportunities offered by remote monitoring. Based on the data that the population itself provides voluntarily, for example through apps, it is possible to make more accurate predictions at the individualized risk level. These predictions consider aspects such as symptoms, clinical variables, history and evolution, and also prioritize testing in a setting where there is a large volume of asymptomatic people who can carry the virus.

From the socio-economic point of view, we are working on solutions in order to take advantage of Big Data opportunities to link epidemiological aspects with others in the social, economic and labor fields. We are applying our technologies to the study of safer ways of returning to work, to detect which sectors are most affected and how to minimize the impact on them, to models to prevent situations similar to the current one, and to carry out selective confinements in the event of future crises, in order to avoid closing the entire country, among other possibilities.
