III OpeNER FP7 project Hackathon in Amsterdam

On 30th of June 2014 the 3rd OpeNER European Project hackathon has taken place in Amsterdam. A broad spectrum of real end user SMEs, Micro-SMEs and Freelancers have been playing with OpeNER technology building creative applications using OpeNER webservices. The goal of the 3rd hackathon has been to come up with potential solutions and applications and it has been a big success. Some of the original ideas: RoofTopping (where are the best roof tops) and the Dog Experience Index (which hotels are most suitable for dogs).

OpeNER is a project founded by the European Commission under the 7th Framework Programme. OpeNER’s goal is to provide a set of ready to use tools in six languages to perform many typical natural processing tasks, in the Sentiment Analysis and Opinion Mining.
