Special Session on Serious Games and Robotic Systems for Physical and Cognitive Rehabilitation – VirtRehab 2014

Vicomtech-IK4 has co-chaired the Special Session on Serious Games and Robotic Systems for Physical and Cognitive Rehabilitation in Rome, Italy, from 25^th to 26^th October in 2014.

Currently, several systems based on Games technologies like Virtual (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) systems are presented as a novel and relevant tools in neurorehabilitation, allowing the development of rehabilitation treatments beyond the traditional methods of work.

The special session has covered the presentation of latest advances in the use of Game technology (Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality) and Robotic Systems for Physical and Cognitive Rehabilitation.
