Vicomtech-IK4 is participating in the contemporary art project and exhibition Divergentes, an initiative by the Zuloaga museum, the Windsor Kulturgintza gallery and the Xabide team, whose main objective is to promote the relationship between artistic creativity and technological innovation, by means of the collaboration of various international artists with local companies and research centres. The French artist Flavien Théry, whose work used to be related to light, was Vicomtech-IK4’s guest during the creation of his artwork named Potencial (nº 2). El espejo de Santa Lucía (Potential number 2 – The mirror of Santa Lucía), where the arrival of a visitor in a darkened room “awakes” a light projection that changes its appearance and its visible information when reflected by certain materials. Other host centres were: CAF, eitb, ik4, Ikusi, Irizar, Tecnalia/AZTI, Tecnalia/Inasmet, Tecnalia/Robotiker, and Ulma. The exhibition closes the 4th of September 2005.
