Vicomtech-IK4 participates in the KKIO conference as a member of the expert panel on semantic technologies within the SAASD European project

Carlos Toro, Ph.D, has been invited by the University of Technology Gdansk (Poland) to chair the Expert Panel on Semantic Technologies of the XII National Conference on IT, held in Gdansk on September 27-29.
This expert panel is made up by representatives of the Universities of Newcastle (Australia) and Gdansk (Poland), HP, Microsoft, Oracle and IBM. They will try to solve, from the point of view of applied investigation, the typical interaction problems on a product’s life-cycle (both on software and hardware levels). They will also present an open debate on the research and development of solutions such as cloud computing, applied semantic, etc.
This event is a result of the investigation works Vicomtech-IK4 is carrying out together with the Newcastle and Gdansk Universities, within the SAASD European project (Marie Curie actions call).
