Vicomtech-IK4 will participate in the Intelligent Transport Systems World Congress that will be held in Melbourne, Australia, from 10th to 14th of October

As in previous editions, Vicomtech-IK4 will participate in the 23rd ITS World Congress that will be held in Melbourne, Australia, from 10th to 14th of October 2016.
In this occasion, the Centre will be present as part of Ertico’s booth (#2913) showcasing the developments achieved within the framework of the inLane project. Vicomtech-IK4 is the coordinator of this European project and the inLane consortium is formed by leading Automotion and Satellite Navigation entities.
Furthermore, another European project led by the Centre, Cloud-LSVA, will be presented as part of a special interest session about the goals of the project. The session “Exploiting cloud and big data technologies for ADAS and Digital Cartography” will take place on 14th October at 1 p.m. Dr. Oihana Otaegui, Director of the ITS and Engineering Department, and Dr. Marcos Nieto, Principal Researcher in Vicomtech-IK4, will be some of the speakers in the session (SIS72).
Vicomtech-IK4 through these European projects will have a significant participation in this annual world congress, which is the most important event in the filed of Intelligent Transport Systems.
