Intelligent security video analytics laboratory
ISVA-LAB
Duration:
01.09.2022 - 31.08.2023
The intelligent video analytics laboratory aims to revolutionize the protection of public and private spaces by simulating the integration of scalable, flexible, and efficient intelligent data platforms for threat detection (dangerous objects, suspect tracking, anomalous behavior, mobility incidents), the generation of actionable threat intelligence (threat analysis, public mobility analysis, geospatial intelligence, event prediction) for the proactive detection of vulnerabilities and analysis of imminent and ongoing crimes, or the assessment of risk to soft targets based on multimedia content extracted from the web, analysis of social networks, and data from on-site IoT sensors, real-time knowledge of the state of an environment (hypervision based on digital twins, AI-based decision support) to plan and execute mitigation actions and collaboration capabilities (operational and federated intelligence collaboration, information sharing, mass communication, augmented reality-based training) to collaboratively mitigate incidents from the earliest stage of detection. The laboratory will be designed taking into account issues that affect citizens, such as ethical, legal, and privacy issues, introducing new approaches (edge data processing, federated intelligence, responsible artificial intelligence, exchange.
The laboratory will be designed taking into account issues that affect citizens, such as ethical, legal, and privacy issues, introducing new approaches (edge data processing, federated intelligence, responsible artificial intelligence, risk-based information sharing, minimization of individual identification) to ensure compliance with the data privacy framework defined by the European Union, the confidentiality requirements of different public and private entities, and acceptance by society.
