Services associated to digitalised contents of tissues in biobanks across Europe

The main objective of the BIOPOOL project is to develop an advanced platform for the management, search, and analysis of digitized histological images of human biological samples. It aims to facilitate access to these samples for biomedical researchers worldwide, enhancing research efficiency and promoting collaboration among biobanks and scientific centers. Additionally, BIOPOOL seeks to address technical challenges related to handling large volumes of data and diverse image formats, ensuring the quality and accessibility of information. Through these goals, the project drives the digitization and optimization of biological resources to accelerate advances in personalized medicine and other biomedical fields.
