6G Distributed and Federated Experiments in Radio, Edge and Non-Terrestrial networks

6G DIFERENTE focuses on two of the major challenges of advanced 6G mobile communications: establishing communications between aerial devices; and service continuity and quality in virtualised Edge environments in mobile situations. The new 6GDIFERENTE strategic programme aims to maintain and improve the privileged position that allows the members of the group to renew and even improve their position as key players both nationally and internationally thanks to the essential mutualisation of efforts, resources and knowledge. This position has been built through previous collaboration in the Cervera open-Verso Network of Excellence.

The activities of 6G DIFERENTE will be carried out within six work packages. Each work package and activity is the responsibility of one centre. The leader of each task will be responsible for coordinating the work to achieve the objectives set in terms of time and costs, and for efficiently monitoring the necessary collaborations for all organisations, while the work package (WP) leader will align the different activities of the tasks and manage the use of the results in other work packages, so that the work is carried out efficiently through multi-organisation work teams.
