Development of manufacturing mechanisms for new composite materials

The general objective of this project is the development of Recyclable, Reprocessable and Repairable thermoset composites with high added value and multisectoral impact, complemented by the introduction of new technologies, both of advanced manufacturing 4.0 and of ICT control and quality inspection.

In the context of composite materials, their defect typology makes it necessary to have specific measurement and analysis systems compared to other types of materials. Vicomtech provides Composites with its knowledge in artificial vision applied to the inspection of composite materials, as well as the development of technologies for better management of productive data and its correlation with the dimensional or surface defectology of the components.

The Consortium is led by the MARISKONE company and FIBER PROFIL, LOIRE SAFE, FIBERTECNIC, MAIER, DIVERSIUS, SARIKI, SEGULA and INKOA companies participate. In addition, to support the companies that make up the Consortium, several RVCTI Agents participate in the Project: VICOMTECH, CIDETEC, IK4-TEKNIKER and MAIER TECHNOLOGY CENTER (MTC).
