Behavioral abnormalities detection tool for the prevention of cognitive deterioration

The OHARTU project proposes the development of an intelligent tool for detecting behavioral anomalies related to cognitive decline (CD) during aging, with the aim of supporting its prevention.
To achieve this, the project seeks to develop an artificial intelligence algorithm for detecting anomalies and warning signs potentially associated with cognitive decline, as well as a machine-learning–based risk prediction model that incorporates demographic, clinical, and lifestyle variables along with the detected anomalies. In addition, a visual analytics system will be implemented to support the study and interpretation of the anomalies, alerts, and developed models.
As a result, the project will generate knowledge of sufficient quality to be deployed in real clinical environments and applicable to the development of future systems for anomaly and warning-sign detection, as well as decision-support tools in the field of cognitive decline.
