Optimizing the registration of information in residential centers through voice interaction

RESIVOZ

Duration:

01.09.2018 - 01.11.2019

The RESIVOZ project aims to improve how residential care centers record daily information about older adults. To achieve this, it develops a voice-interaction system specifically adapted to the gerontological domain, enabling technical staff to enter information more quickly, accurately, and efficiently. The project is a collaboration between Caser Residencial and Vicomtech, combining care expertise with advanced voice-recognition technology.
The solution seeks to reduce the time spent on manual data entry, avoid end-of-shift memory-based reporting, and strengthen the Person-Centered Care (PCC) model. The system will be tested in real environments with staff from several centers and designed to ensure data privacy through on-premise servers. The project also includes dissemination activities, potential commercial agreements, and an analysis of expected challenges such as limited domain-specific data or the acceptance of new technology among staff.
