Real world evidence in oncology from data to results

The Evidonko project focuses on developing a tool capable of obtaining Real-World Data (RWE) and evaluating (personalized) treatments based on Real-World Data (RWD) analysis, prioritizing patient outcomes. These outcomes include, among others, treatment response, toxicities and adverse events, and patient-reported outcomes (PROs).

Evidonko aims to take a further step towards personalized medicine. To this end, it will investigate not only how to formalize RWE but also how to provide clinicians with a quick and easy visualization of data and outcomes, helping them determine the most appropriate treatments for each type of patient.

Evidonko has set the following functional objectives:

- To develop knowledge, technology, and tools that facilitate the generation of new knowledge from Real-World Data extraction. The project focuses on developing both tools and patient models that gain knowledge by leveraging information from diverse sources, such as electronic health records, tools that help determine patient status non-invasively, and patient-provided information (PROs).

- Defining, experimenting with, and validating the developed technology by verifying its ability to meet the needs of medical professionals regarding personalized medicine.
