Vicomtech and SEIDOR reach a collaboration agreement to accelerate the transfer of applied digital technologies

The technology center Vicomtech and the technology consultancy SEIDOR have signed a strategic alliance to accelerate the transfer of applied digital technologies to the market.

Under this agreement, both organizations will work together over the next four years to bring advanced R&D capabilities to the business ecosystem and public administrations. The agreement also focuses on advancing the application of artificial intelligence, data spaces, and Industry 4.0 across different sectors.

The technological scope of the agreement is centered on applied R&D and the transfer of capabilities linked to artificial intelligence, in areas such as Data Intelligence, Machine Learning, AI-based optimization, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Quantum Machine Learning. These capabilities will be integrated into SEIDOR’s market solutions, especially in sectors such as public administration, automotive, energy, healthcare, and sustainability.

Strategic axes

The joint activity will be structured around several strategic axes. These include the deployment of multimodal generative AI solutions for industrial process optimization and decision support in healthcare. The collaboration will also address the creation of data spaces for secure and sovereign information exchange, the development of sustainability technologies—such as the Digital Product Passport—and the implementation of intelligent cyber-physical systems within the framework of Industry 4.0.

A results-oriented model

The collaboration will be implemented through knowledge transfer from Vicomtech to SEIDOR. This process will result in high-value technological solutions developed under technology readiness levels (TRL), presented as industrial demonstrators and technical validation results with potential for market integration.

Through this alliance, Vicomtech contributes its research capabilities and expertise in applied AI, while SEIDOR brings its experience in deploying technological solutions and its market reach. The shared goal is to ensure that technological innovation translates into concrete, useful applications with impact on the economic and social fabric.
