COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH ON BIOMARKERS AND ALTERNATIVE METHODS FOR DIAGNOSIS AND THERAPEUTIC MONITORING OF PULMONARY HYPERTENSION ASSOCIATED WITH FIBROSIS

Project BMg24 will investigate early diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension (PH). PH is a pathophysiology that causes irreversible heart and lung diseases without therapeutic solutions. Its impact is an increase in mortality and adverse cardiovascular events, which increase as a result of the ageing population. In BMg24 we will carry out diagnostic, technological and therapeutic innovations in two subtypes: those related to heart failure and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
