Institutional visit to the Vicomtech headquarters to learn about the capabilities of Artificial Intelligence in language

The Basque Government has organized a meeting at our headquarters in Donostia led by the Vice Counselor of Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation, Estíbaliz Hernáez. In this meeting, together with other agents, we have had the opportunity to transfer the capabilities of Artificial Intelligence in language, with our sights set on being able to couple Basque initiatives in the Strategic Project for Language and Artificial Intelligence.

Representatives from Vicomtech, the UPV, Tecnalia have taken part, and a presentation of Euskaltzaindia has been made by the Deputy Minister for Language Policy, Miren Dobaran.

With this meeting, the institutional visit organized this week with the Secretary of State for Digitization and Artificial Intelligence, Carme Artigas, has closed.
