Vicomtech and Teknei establish a strategic partnership to accelerate the transfer of Artificial Intelligence technologies

Vicomtech and Teknei have signed a framework collaboration agreement to foster applied research projects and accelerate the transfer of advanced technologies to the market. The partnership establishes a stable framework for scientific and technological cooperation, enabling both organisations to combine their expertise to develop innovative solutions and jointly address today's technological challenges.

Through this agreement, Vicomtech will further strengthen its position as a leading technology centre in Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies, reinforcing its collaboration with industry to facilitate knowledge transfer and accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies across strategic sectors.

Applied research in Artificial Intelligence

The collaboration will focus on the development of R&D projects in fields including Artificial Intelligence, data spaces, computer vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, Data Intelligence and Quantum Machine Learning.

The technologies developed will address the challenges faced by sectors such as industry, mobility, energy, healthcare, public administration, security and cybersecurity.

A framework to drive innovation and technology transfer

The agreement includes the development of joint research and innovation projects, the identification of new collaboration opportunities, the generation of scientific and technological knowledge, and participation in national and international initiatives. In addition, both organisations will promote training activities, talent development and knowledge dissemination initiatives aimed at facilitating the effective transfer of research outcomes to both the Basque and international business ecosystems.
